2007 / 2008 Fun Days!

The pictures I have selected for your viewing pleasure are now randomly placed and seemingly in no order because it's taking forever - so you get what you get! Enjoy!
Visiting the other night with the kids we had the great privilege of seeing Ellie with her many faces. This one is HAPPY!
SAD!
MAD!
SURPRISED!
I don't remember the word for this ... but she's showing her muscles to me!And this ... her signature look ... PRINCESS! It was in the 70's the other day - January 6th - so Lori and I ate lunch outside at Chick-Fil-A.
This didn't happen to me growing up ... 70's in January. I then was at the Maxey home during bath time this week too to see Katherine in her cute tub.
She gets the water poured right over her head and doesn't seem to mind a bit. She also kind of likes that other baby that appears at bathtime every night! Devin bought a Mandolin over break and hopes to be the next top Mandolinist! Once again that familiar position on the bed with the computer / although it was more a family affair this time. Charlie's just a bit bored. Isn't it interesting that Chinese hat Devin's wearing?? Our beautiful cabin on top the hill in the Smokies. And this is why it's called the Smokies. Since we had this gorgeous view we got to see all the weather changes. It was really cool to see. The family.
Bob cooking Kielbossa for dinner. Paige and Devin journaling. Although I don't know how they were able to concentrate since we were probably big distractions. Bet those pages are funny that you wrote those nights! I could be trying out for a new commercial, but I'm not - I just like to see how many ways my face will contort! Oh yea ... there was snoring too! We really had fun playing games together although you can't tell by these happy faces! Okay, here was the cute thing. Presley had been put down for a nap. We thought she was sleeping. But what she was doing was emptying my Mother's wallet all over the bed. Money, credit cards, receipts everywhere! After she realized we thought it was funny she was free to laugh too! Then of course we had to pose in the middle of the mess.Handsome guy - adorable dog ... what a pair! The making of the famous "Pizelles"
Our Tree ... Bob decorated ... all by himself... cause no one can do it as good as him! The only icicles you'll ever see in Alabama are the ones hanging from the garland on our mirror! Our Holiday table with a fresh fruit centerpiece with added...pearls?? It's a Bob thing. After the Christmas Eve service at FWC with Ray. BuddiesMy sweet, sweet, friend Jan Simpson.Just the guys hanging out.Devin spent allot of time in this position over the holidays.
Our family meets in Pigeon Forge for our holiday get together. But before we go to our cabin - we always meet at Walmart! Do you see those two posing in the background??It's always so fun to see the kids and how much they've grown. This year was a huge difference with Presley and Preston. Preston is such a happy guy now since his surgeries. And he is taking off and making up for lost time. This really looks like a sunglass add. My baby brother, whom I adore!
Presley went up and down these steps dozens of times each day. Preston crawled up the steps a few times too. My Mother is so proud of her grandchildren! Dana is such a good Mom (did I get points for that Dana??)Gail Renee and Presley ReneeGrandmother and Grandson. This is where Ryan spent 90% of his time while we were at the cabin. He is a very good pool player and showed me many smoothe moves! Also, he's hard to beat!Paige and Devin on the street in Gatlinburg. Her first visit to the Smokies.
Another highlight for us is that "Master's Praise" from IWU was able to do a concert for us on Jan 6th. Jeffrey is in the group and they were GREAT!

2007 Holidays!

The holiday break began with a taping session on the UA's campus. We were repsonsible for making a Campus Challenge promotional video for the nation. Grant Premo was our videographer, Chris Collins (Devin's ARD from school) was our cue board holder, Devin and Laura Kennedy were in the video and Scott ... well, he was along for the comedy! The video was shown at the youth convention in Orlando over Christmas and is currently on YOUTUBE.

Devin's job was to hold that branch out of the way. This was our rehearsal for the Sunday before Christmas and Christmas Eve. Devin, Laura and Jeffrey sang "End Of The Beginning" with the choir.
Our friend, Ray Jones who sang with "Celebrate America" at Pigeon Forge came down from Birmingham and sang with the choir too. He is now currently attending Liberty University. Thanks Ray for blessing us with your beautiful gift! We had a great time hanging out too!Chris Collins, Devin's ARD from school came and spent the first week of break with us. Chris is a marketing major and a Sr. at IWU. He and Devin have become great friends this year. We also enjoyed our time with Chris. Ray and Jeffrey. This is one of Jeffrey's better faces!!

Good Friends ... Devin, Paul and Jeffrey.Just sitting around the table with all the guys!

We tried so hard to get a good family photo that wasn't blurry ... not successful. ;-(Second attempt... better.Father and Son. Aren't they cute!! We then took one of me and Devin but they were too blurry to use... Thanks Bob!
